About Me

I’m Mark Francis, a graphic designer and web developer with over ten years of experience working in branding, rebranding, and visual communication. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to help companies and institutions shape how they’re seen — from logos and packaging to signage, print materials, and long-form publications. What’s always mattered most to me is creating work that feels intentional, consistent, and meaningful, not just visually appealing.

My path into web development grew naturally out of my design background. As brands moved increasingly online, I found myself drawn to the technical side of bringing ideas to life — not just how things look, but how they work. I began focusing more on UI and front-end development, building responsive, user-centered interfaces that align seamlessly with brand identity and real user needs.

I’m currently completing a full-stack web development program, expanding my skill set to include both front-end and back-end technologies. This step has strengthened my ability to think holistically about digital products — from concept and design to functionality and performance. Combining design thinking with development allows me to bridge the gap between visuals and code, and to create digital experiences that are practical, accessible, and human at their core.

My skills include:
Branding & Visual Identity, UI Design, Front-End Development, Responsive Design, Website Graphics, Full-Stack Web Development (in progress), Social Media Management, and User-Centered Design.
